ITV Announces Major Reality TV Lineup for 2025

ITV has unveiled an ambitious slate of reality programming for 2025, headlined by milestone anniversaries for two of its biggest franchises. “The Only Way Is Essex” (TOWIE) will celebrate its fifteenth year on air, while “The Real Housewives of Cheshire” marks a decade of drama and glamour.

TOWIE, which has generated over 45 million streams on ITVX in the past year, has been confirmed for two new series in 2025. The show’s success has also spawned a spin-off series featuring fan favorites Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou, who found love on the show in 2014. The three-part special will follow their journey to the altar, building on the popularity of their previous series “Baby Steps.”

“The Real Housewives of Cheshire” will mark its tenth anniversary with a series featuring the return of several familiar faces. Additionally, longtime housewife Tanya Bardsley will star in her own six-part series, “The Bardsley Bunch,” offering viewers a glimpse into her multi-generational household, including husband Phil, their four children, grandparents, and Great Nana Irene.

Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming slate: “We are delighted to be celebrating two of our longest running reality franchises as they enter exciting milestone years, whilst also expanding both series, following the ever popular Tommy and Georgia and Tanya Bardsley as they embark upon new chapters.”

Both TOWIE and The Bardsley Bunch will be produced by established production companies within the ITV network, with Objective Entertainment handling TOWIE and Monkey producing the Cheshire-based shows. The new programming will be available across ITV’s platforms, including ITVX and ITVBe.
